“Becoming a Positive Achiever”
by Dr. Carl Aylen (Neurometric International, Limited)

This highly stimulating workshop is based on research conducted with many of the world's leading industrialists by Carl Aylen.  Carl developed a Performance Profiling technique to measure the characteristics of these individuals.  This workshop will focus on these measurements and how such people achieve their successes and what traits and behaviors they all have in common.  Drawing from real life experiences, the seminar will show you how you can emulate these successes by:

Participants of this workshop will receive the Cassette Tape Set “Becoming a Positive Achiever”.

Dr. Carl Aylen is a corporate reconstruction expert and internationally acknowledged as a leader in the measurement of human potential and motivation. He is the originator of Neurometric Performance Profiling, an innovative assessment technique that enables the performance potential of individuals to be matched to the demands of specific roles.  In the 1970’s Carl first became interested in the relationship between mathematics and the psychology of executive performance.  He developed a multiple-choice questionnaire that integrated questions used for the measurement of personality characteristics, motivational priorities and thinking styles.  Using feedback sheets in which managers rated the performance of their team members, he then developed a computer-based system, which predicted executive performance characteristics.  The resulting Performance Profiling systems Carl has developed have enabled many companies (throughout the world) to benefit from improvements in both executive motivation and performance.

"From the 'Ties That Bind' to the 'Binds That Change' -
Facilitating Organizational Change"
by Dr. Darrel Ray (Managers Consulting Services)

Patterns in organizational behavior help the change agent understand and help organizations change. Using an organization's own energy the change facilitator can create the conditions for change which reduce or eliminate resistance.  Organizational change facilitators can help leaders and managers develop structures that help people more easily migrate toward greater efficiency and productivity.  Creating structure in human systems allows people to stop worrying about the politics and social system issues and focus on the customer.  What can facilitators do to help implement these structural elements?  What techniques and methods work best in helping people migrate from one structure to another?

In this workshop participants will:

This workshop will be highly interactive with a number of small group activities, the workshop will give participants new approaches to initiating change.  Participants of this workshop will receive a copy of Darrel’s book and CD “Teaming Up - Making the Transition to the Self-Directed, Team-Based Organization”, McGraw-Hill (1995), CD (1999).

Dr. Darrel Ray has consulted throughout the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom since 1978 and has directed major departments in two organizations. He specializes in Management Development, Team Building and Self-Directed Work Group implementation.  As a psychologist Dr. Ray has studied groups and group dynamics since 1976, and has worked with groups and organizations in development and change efforts throughout his career.   He specializes in Management Team Assessment and Development, helping top management teams work together more effectively and making the organizational and behavioral changes necessary for high performance at the highest levels of each organization.   He is one of the most experienced consultants in the United States on the subject of Self-Directed Work Teams and has helped companies implement all types of teams since 1976.

Darrel is a pioneer in the development of Self-Directed Work Teams in both union and non-union environments having developed the "Teaming Up" process which is now widely used across North America and the United Kingdom.  He is a graduate of George Peabody College of Vanderbilt University, and holds a doctorate in counseling psychology. Dr. Ray is certified by two national organizations as a trainer and holds certifications in Neurolinguistics as well. He is a professional member of the American Psychological Association.  His published works include articles in a number of national journals including: The Journal for Quality and Participation, Manage Magazine, Working Woman and others.
