Opportunity for contract/independent facilitators and consultants:

A major heavy manufacturer headquartered in the metropolitan Detroit area is about to embark on a major initiative to improve its plant safety record. This initiative is supported as a joint program of union and management. To deploy this program the company needs twelve to fifteen highly skilled contract facilitators. These facilitators must have demonstrated experience in the following:

• Facilitation and coaching
• Manufacturing operations
• Joint union/management programs
• Plant safety

The compensation schedule is industry competitive and includes travel and expenses.

4/16-4/27/01     6 – 15 days	Assigned Plants	Assist members in conducting Cascade Training to committeemen, stewards, area managers and supervisors. Each session will be 4 hours in length. Multiple sessions will be conducted.

• Permit the Local Joint Health and Safety Committees to function as consultants to local leadership and management
• Elevate Safety & Health as an integral part of the companies operating principles
